The Fire Inspection Program is responsible for new construction plan review and inspections at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with the International Fire Code, NFPA, City Ordinances and the Life Safety Code. The Fire Inspection Program also conducts routine life safety fire inspections of existing commercial, industrial and multi-family residential structures to ensure continued compliance with the International Fire Code for the safety of the building occupants, firefighters and for our community.
