Michael Gdovin

Michael grew up in San Antonio and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio. He joined the fire service in January of 1989 with the Auburndale (Florida) Fire Dept. He joined the Alamo Heights Fire Dept. in April of 1993. He received his paramedic certification in 2000. He holds the following certifications from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection:

• Plans Examiner
• Driver/Operator - Pumper
• Firefighter Master
• Fire Inspector Master
• Fire Service Instructor II
• Incident Safety Officer
• Certified Fire Officer
• Head of Department

Michaels goal is to make the community and his fellow firefighters safer.
